Loaded Tray Pizza
A thick homemade pizza with too much cheese, plenty of toppings and no interest in being elegant.
This is not a delicate pizza. It is the kind of homemade tray that solves a craving delivery cannot quite reach.
What you need
Ingredients
- 500 g wheat flour
- 320 ml lukewarm water
- 7 g dry yeast
- 10 g salt
- 8 g sugar
- 25 ml olive oil
- 250 ml tomato passata
- 450 g mixed mozzarella and cheddar
- Ham, mushrooms, onion, corn, green pepper and bacon
Make it happen
Method

Mix the water, yeast and sugar. Add flour, salt and olive oil, then knead.

Leave the dough to rise for 60 to 90 minutes.

Stretch it into an oiled high-sided tray and pre-bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 220–230°C.

Add tomato sauce, cheese and all the toppings. Finish with a second layer of cheese.

Bake for another 15 to 20 minutes until the edges are golden.
